Short answer. PokerBros never writes "HUD" in its Terms, its Safe and Fair Play page or its FAQ. Terms section 5.4 does ban "accessing or compiling information on other players beyond that which you have personally observed", and a HUD is built to do exactly that. The tools sold for it say they capture hands live through an Android emulator, because the app gives you no hand export. The documents indicate that it is not allowed. I cannot tell you whether anyone gets caught, and neither can the sellers.
What I read, and when
On 16 October 2026 I opened three documents on pokerbros.net: the Terms and Conditions (effective date shown: April 2025, no day), the Safe and Fair Play page, and the FAQ. The Safe and Fair Play page and the FAQ show no revision date at all, so I cannot say how old they are. I searched all three for HUD, hand history, tracker, PokerTracker, Hold'em Manager, Hand2Note, overlay, screen sharing and converter. Not one of those words appears. That includes "hand history": the app documents never mention exporting your hands.
The clause that does the work
Terms section 5.4 is titled "Solvers and Real Time Assistance Software". It forbids tools "which provide in-game decisions and allow automation of play", and gives Game Theory Optimal solvers and equity calculators as examples. Then it widens. What is prohibited, it says, "encompasses but is not limited to accessing or compiling information on other players beyond that which you have personally observed through your own game play".
A HUD is a table of other players' numbers: how often a seat raises, folds to a bet, goes to showdown. You did not observe those numbers in your own play, because the software compiled them from hands you may have sat through, or hands you only watched. That fits the sentence. The Safe and Fair Play page says it from another side. Under "Use of third party software" it lists, as a third item after hacks and bots, "any other programs that aim to modify or provide users with information about other users actions not accessible to them without using such tools". The stated consequence is a permanent ban for each offending account.
Notice what the clause does not do. It does not separate a HUD from a real-time assistant. Both sit under 5.4, and the text draws no line between "shows me stats" and "tells me what to do". Review sites love that line. The operator's wording does not have it.
What the tools say they are
I read the vendor pages, not the videos, and installed nothing. Everything below is what a seller says about its own product.
| Source | What it claims | Date shown |
|---|---|---|
| Hand2Note (guide on a partner site) | "Fully supports PokerBros room". Run the tracker and a PokerBros table together and the HUD appears; the tracker "will grab hands" itself. The guide recommends an Android emulator. 14-day trial, then a paid licence | Published 8 Jul 2020, updated 7 Oct 2026 |
| DriveHUD, "Asian Hand Converter" | A HUD for PokerBros, PPPoker, ClubGG and ten other Asian apps, on a PC or in an emulator. Works with DriveHUD, Hold'em Manager, PokerTracker and Hand2Note. Hands are "converted as you play". Lists LDPlayer, BlueStacks and Nox. From $21.50 a month. The page also says the converter "gets around the emulator restrictions on PokerBros" | No update date; page footer reads 2016 |
| A review site, "PokerBros HUD Guide 2026" | Says the terms treat HUDs and trackers as cheating and answers "Is a HUD allowed? No." Says PokerBros tightened detection in 2025 | Marked 2026. As far as I can tell the site earns from affiliate links, and I found no source for the 2025 claim |
| Reddit and a tracker forum | Old questions about how to get a HUD working. One r/poker thread has 9 comments and is about five years old; a PokerTracker forum topic is dated 26 Mar 2020 | Around 2020 to 2021 |
PokerBros is a phone app, with no desktop client and, as far as the documents show, no hand export. So a tracker has nothing to import. These products fill that gap by capturing hands while you play, which is why every one of them talks about emulators. The only mention of emulator restrictions I found anywhere is that DriveHUD line. I could not find such a restriction in the Terms, the Fair Play page or the FAQ. Either it lives in the app's code and not in the text, or the vendor means something I cannot see from outside. I would not build a decision on either guess.
Who answers the search
I also looked at what Google (English, US location) puts on the first page for "pokerbros hud" and "pokerbros hand converter" on 16 October. For the first query the top eight were four YouTube setup videos (three from one channel), a Hand2Note guide, a review site, an old r/poker thread and a PokerTracker forum topic. For the second, seven results: three from DriveHUD (a product page and two videos), two more converter vendors, and another r/poker thread. PokerBros is on neither page. Everything a reader gets comes from people selling the software or showing how to install it, so the rules question is answered, if at all, in a comment.
Where a HUD turns into real-time assistance
On the operator's wording, it does not turn into anything, because both are already in the same clause. In practice players draw the line at who decides. A HUD shows you that the seat to your left folds to 3-bets 80% of the time. An assistant says "3-bet here". The first leaves the click to you, the second takes it away. My read is that neither would look better in an account review, since 5.4 names the information as a problem and not only the advice.
Whether your club adds its own rules on top, I do not know. I found no public club rulebook, and club owners can write what they like. If you want an answer for your seat, ask the person who runs it. They may not know either.
What a ban costs when the chips are with an agent
The HUD tutorials skip what a PokerBros ban does. As I read the Terms on 13 October, a closed account gets no refund of Virtual Items and cannot be replaced by a new one. The chips you were playing with usually sit with an agent, and the money you are owed is a line in that agent's books, as the union economics page lays out. A flagged account is a problem for the agent first. Whether the agent pays you out, or writes you off to protect their standing with a super-agent, is a decision made outside the app and outside any rule I quoted above.
Beyond the ban itself, the person holding your balance learns you ran prohibited software right when you need them on your side. The app security page explains why agents tend to drop a suspect account rather than defend it.
What I could not confirm
- How the converters actually get hands out of the app. The vendors say "converted as you play" and "grab hands" and stop there. I did not install one.
- Whether PokerBros detects emulators or HUD overlays at all, and how often anyone is banned for it. No source I read gives a number I would trust, including the operator's own 97% figure, which comes with no method.
- Whether the Hand2Note guide's October 2026 update changed anything beyond the date. The page says it was updated; it does not say what changed.
- What your own club permits. That is a question for your club owner.
Quotes checked 16 October 2026 against pokerbros.net/en/terms-and-conditions, /en/safe-and-fair-play and /en/faq, and against the public pages of the vendors named above. The documents can change without notice, so check the current text before you rely on it. The overview of what PokerBros bans by name is on the home page.
